Our Story is Rasta Story

The History of The Church of Haile Selassie I begins with the history of the Rastafarian movement in Jamaica, W.I.  The four Patriarchs of the Movement; Leonard Howell, Charles Dunkley, Robert Hinds and Josiah Nathaniel Hibbert, provided the foundation for the Rastafarian movement centered on Emperor Haile Selassie I as the true and living God. However, it was Josiah Nathaniel Hibbert who was the teacher of the spiritual foundation of the movement, Hibbert was a Master Mason in the Ancient Mystical Order of Ethiopia and provided the foundation for our theology, called Rastalogy, which is Black (pure) Theology based on the Divinity of Emperor Haile Selassie I. The Ancient Mystical Order of Ethiopia is an Ancient Secret Society of Mystic Masons whose members are filed with the Divine Spirit of the Fatherhood of God, and the Brotherhood of Man.
Ascento Ammanuel Foxe, a student of Hibbert, was sent to England to meet with the Emperor of Ethiopia, Emperor Haile Selassie I and obtain a Royal Charter to organize and centralize all Rastafarians.

The Abuna Ammanuel Foxe and Junior Anderson were commissioned by Josiah Nathaniel Hibbert to build The Church of Haile Selassie I and The Imperial World Federation.
