BA BETA KRISTIYAN HAILE SELASSIE I 

In order to become a member of of the Church of Haile Selassie I one has to become 'initiated' into the ancient  Order of Ethiopia. As a result of ones who commit atrocious crimes with locks on their head and calling upon the name of JAH, it was necessary for the Church to restore the divinity of the name of Haile Selassie I through initiation. (Ezekiel 36:20-22). As this order is very much esoteric it is necessary for the devotee to attend service and other activities such as Rastalogy Class and try to understand the basic principles (pillars) upon which the Church was erected.

• Applicant must attend Temple Worship for at least three (3) consecutive weeks.

• Applicant must complete Baptism Application and write a letter stating why they would like to
    be a part of The Church of Haile Selassie I.

• After mutual evaluation, acceptance, commitment and preparation for Baptism, the applicant
    must adhere to the following Baptismal Requirements.

• Total cost for Baptism is $45.00(US):

a)  $10.00 for the Baptism Certificate

b)  $15.00 for the Ba Beta Kristiyan - Divine Liturgy Book

c)  $20.00 for Church fees
