BA BETA KRISTIYAN HAILE SELASSIE I 

In 1972 while in Jamaica on a fact finding mission Brother Ascento Foxe met with Abba L. M. Mandefro of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and discussed with him the question of the establishment of The EWF Inc. in London. Ascento Foxe was initiated by Abba Mandefro in Jamaica. On returning to London August 25,1972, the last Charter of the EWF Inc. was issued to the Rastafarian community in London by the order of the International President George Bryan, to Ascento Foxe. This Charter is known as the Ethiopian World Federation Inc. Emperor Yohannes Local 33. The first President in London with the authority to administer the Charter Local 33 was Ascento Foxe. The following year Ascento Foxe, was invited to America by the International President Mr. George Bryan, where he was appointed International President of the EWF Inc.

In 1974 the overthrow of Emperor Haile Selassie I, government changed the peaceful administration of the EWF Inc. as a social, economic organism that Rasta should use to foster his soci-econ-cultural development change to a political mechanism to be use by the Ethiopian in the Western diaspora to demonstrate against the Marxist Leninist regime of Colonel Mariam Menquistu of Ethiopia's Communist Government.

During the period of 1974-80 Ascento Foxe, took the EWF Inc. on the trail, seeking support against the Communist back Government of Haile Mariam Mengistu. Due to different controversy within the Rastafarian community by Marxist segments of so-called Rasta, and the undermining of the EWF Inc. by anti-Federationalist, who wanted to manipulate the EWF Inc, Ascento Foxe petitioned Crown Prince H.LM. Mero Azmatch Asfa Wossen H.S., asking for a meeting to discuss the question of how we the Loyal Federationalist could help in the struggle of the Liberation of Ethiopia and the restoration of the dynasty of Emperor Haile Selassie I.

In 1983 Ascento Foxe secured a meeting with Crown Prince Asfa Wossen H.S. A petition was presented to the Crown Prince and Crown Counsel asking that some fundamental change should be done to the EWF Inc. seeing that it was being used by Menquistu Lackeys to solicit funds and other undesirable elements.
On July 1,1983, a statement and a letter was issued to the Crown Counsel as follows "We shall therefore be pleased to exchange official documents and bestow the relevant credentials necessary for the revitalization of the sacred aims and objectives as originally laid out by beloved Father Emperor Haile Selassie, so as to renew our highest consideration to the eventual success of the sacred goals of the movement worldwide under the renewed banner of The Imperial Ethiopian World Federation Inc."

Two Royal Charters of the IEWF Inc. was given to Ascento Foxe to differentiate Crown Movement Federation from the EWF Inc. of Haile Mariam Menquistu.
 

Today is a new era, and a new resurrection in the struggle for a free Ethiopia under constitutional monarchy, the desire and wish of HIM Emperor Haile Selassie I, and we Rastafarian and Haile Selassie I-iest must be the vanguard of this struggle because the 1974 Rastafarianism and modem Ethiopianism became ones aim and objective.

• Liberation of Ethiopia from the Marxist Leninist Rule of Meles Zenawi under the disguise of Democracy.

• Establishment of Constitutional Monarchy

• Financial and Moral Support for Ethiopian and Ethiopian refugees.

• Repatriation

• Agitation for Rastafarian Senator ship in the Senate of Jamaica

The presence of the IEWF Inc in the Third World is to give the Ethiopianist and those that love justice and hate aggression the platform to agitate for their human rights and fundamental freedoms. Rastafarians today cannot be non-political. They will have to be involved in the politics of the day. The hungry be fed, the naked clothed, the sick nourished, the infant cared for, is not a prayer. It is the aim and objective. Rastafarian and Ethiopianist must realize that IEWF Inc. is the Crown Movement today compatible to the Nazarite Movement lead by Joshua the Christ during the occupation of Palestine and Judea by the Romans.
St. Luke 1-31-33 statement of Gabriel to Mary identifies a liberation and a restoration movement lead by Joshua to restore David dynasty with Joshua as King who would liberate the people from the colonial rule of Rome.

Today we Rastas must see the IEWF Inc. as that instrument given to us by Emperor Haile Selassie I, which helped to fulfill Amos 9-11. "In that day will I raise up the Tabernacle of David that has fallen, and close up the breaches of thereof and I will raise up his ruins and I will build it as in the days of old." Psalms 127: 1 "Except the Lord" Haile Selassie I, build the house they labor in vain that build it ("The IEWF Inc.")
In 1974 the overthrow of the Government of Emperor Haile Selassie I, represented Psalms 2: 1-2. "Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The Kings and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and his anointed, Emperor Haile Selassie 1." A resurrection of Revelation 12:7-9 the battle of Adowa 1896, and the 1935-41 Roman challenge of Fascism by Mussolini.
Today the IEWF Inc. is alive and strong as in the days of 1935-41 when the former EWF Inc. contributed to the struggle for a free Ethiopia. Today we Rastafarians must see themselves as the Isaiah 4:3-7, even everyone that is called by my name: For I created him for my glory. I have formed the IEWF Inc. has contested three (3) general elections although we could not win a seat, it was very fundamental that we establish our presence in the political arena in Jamaica. Irrespective of not winning a seat, today the Rasta Movement cannot preach a non-political doctrine because through the IEWF Inc. Rastas in Jamaica are now political and also accept their political responsibilities.

Man cannot only begin an enterprise, it is for God to dispose of it to a good end. We hope that the Lord will help us to apply this constitution and allow us to complete the task which we have taken upon ourselves.
